RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute plans that address key issues and opportunities for the segmentUnderstand competitive brand issues and provide action plans to address threatsExecute the promotional calendar consistent with the marketing planMonitor effectiveness of new item distribution and make recommendations for improvement when appropriateIndependently lead cross functional teams (project management)Develop and manage brand budget with guidance from the Marketing or Product ManagerCoordinate and monitor effectiveness of consumer promotional spending by eventExercise discretion regarding data and sources, analytical conclusions, and strategic recommendationsQuickly develop capability to lead projects that support both Marketing and Sales objectives Identify and lead process and continuous improvement initiativesProvide analyses and recommendations related to product offering and pricingREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Marketing, or related field requiredExperience leading cross functional teamsConsumer products experience with ability to manage multiple segmentsDemonstrated success leading and championing business plan recommendations for senior managementDemonstrated understanding of:Marketing procedures and conceptsHow the team interacts and integrates with others in accomplishing objectivesCompetitive landscape and implications to the segment and businessRequired business acumen that goes beyond marketingGood understanding of syndicated retail data analysis, financial analysis and business planningGood written, communication, and presentation skillsStrong leadership and problem solving skills with bias for actionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMBAExperience marketing to Hispanic ConsumersSpanish language proficiencyMcCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
