The company has experienced significant growth and seeks qualified candidates to support continued growth in all of our business sectors.Overview:Responsible for administration of employee benefits in all company operations. Maintains company benefits/HR data and records. Provides guidance and assistance to all locations on employee benefit plans. Ensures compliance with government, contract, and other business requirements. Develops, recommends, and implements new employee benefit policies. Administers existing plans. Provides backup position to HR Director as needed. Maintains company HR data/records in the ADP HRIS system as well as HR paper and electronic files/personnel records; Maintains company recruiting and applicant tracking system (iCIMS) Answers employee/manager questions concerning HRIS/Recruiting database systems. Assists in the reconciliation of benefit invoices, creation of New Hire/Separation packages and compensation data collection. Duties & Responsibilities:Duties and Responsibilities:Administers employee benefits programs including 401k plans, medical, dental, life insurance and disability programs and other plans as included in the employee benefit offerings.Provides primary liaison for pension plans administered by Collective Bargaining Agreements.Evaluates and compares existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information. Analyzes results of surveys and develops specific recommendations for review by management.Develops specifications for new plans or modifies existing plans to:Maintain company's competitive position in labor market, andObtain uniform benefit packages for all company locations, where possible.Recommends classes of eligible employees for new or modified plans. Develops census data and coordinates with the company's benefits broker for quotations. Evaluates quotations and makes recommendations to management. Makes recommendations to management concerning sharing of cost between employer and employee.Analyzes renewal proposals from benefit vendors and presents premium recommendations and data to HR Manager and CFO for determination of premiums and benefit offerings for the new year.Installs approved new plans and changes by preparing announcement material, booklets, and other media for communicating new plans to employees.Conducts employee meetings and arranges for enrollment of employees in benefits plans. Conducts employee benefit seminars. Revises and reissues all communications material on benefits from time to time. Communicates to employees on existing benefits.Prepares and executes legal updates to plans including compliance with federal, state and local legislation in all the company's locations, ensuring prompt and accurate compliance.Assures company compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Supervises preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies. Reviews and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and reports necessary or suggested changes to management. Coordinates company benefits, with government sponsored programs.Develops benefit information and statistical and census data for actuaries, insurance carriers, and management.Handles benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution. Maintains contact in person, and by phone or mail, with hospitals, physicians, insurance companies, employees, and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees.Supervises maintenance of human resources records. Supervises maintenance of enrollment, application, and claims records for all benefit plans.Responsible for direct contact, oversight and liaison with the payroll provider (CheckpointHR) as to benefit set-up, open enrollment, payroll processing and file feeds.Responsible for supplying data and preparing all HR compliance reports including all annual testing data submission for the company and CBA 401k and pension plans.Responsible for coordinating and submitting annual compliance audits including the 401k 5500 audit by outside auditors.Provides oversight and administration of HRIS systemsMaintains hard and soft copy files; uploading and maintaining documents in company intranet.Monitors document period of performance and values; prepares modifications as required.Responsible for HR data entry, filing (paper and electronic) maintaining current and former employee records.Analyses competitive compensation and formulates compensation grades and policies.Delivers onboarding presentations as back up to HR ManagerProvides backup to HR Manager as needed.#CBQualifications:Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' experience in Human Resources, ORMaster's degree in Human Resource Management and four (4) years' experience in Human ResourcesOther Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Other Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Specialized experience includes:*Experience with companies with multiple geographic locations*Experience working with an enterprise HR/Payroll System*Experience with large scale employee enrollments in benefitExperience with ADP HRIS systems Preferred.General experience includes: * Experience with in a Government Contracting Company strongly preferred* HR Generalist experience preferred
