We currently have a great assignment for a Superintendent with one of our top clients. As a Superintendent, you will be supporting our client, a highly-regarded construction firm specializing in general contracting, construction management and design / build services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Based in Hanover, PA, this client has projects extending throughout PA, DE, MD and VA.The Superintendent will be responsible for management and oversight of all project field operations including project safety, quality control, planning, documentation, productivity and schedule. Reporting to their Project Manager, the Superintendent will work cooperatively with all supervisors in a team approach in order to deploy the best resources for the tasks at hand, and shall: Review all project documents (scope, plans and addendums) in order to become thoroughly familiar with the project Review the cost codes, control estimate and schedule with the Project Manager Review all subcontract scopes and purchase orders with Project Manager prior to start of construction Create a project completion plan for each project Coordinate with Project Manager to schedule all material deliveries with suppliers Communicate with and schedule the subcontractors Coordinate all onsite project activities and ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed Inspect jobsite on a regular basis for safety, quality control, productivity, schedule & material and subcontractor planning Update two-week look-ahead schedule and review with Project Manager Discuss potential change orders with Project Manager Submit daily reports and time records at the end of each workday Review project goals on a weekly basis with the Project Manager Review project goals on a daily basis with crew Resolve problems that arise due to equipment or labor needs, inclement weather or other issues that may cause delays Communicate Requests for Information (RFI) to Project Manager as necessary Attend monthly progress meetings with Project Manager, Engineer, Owner and prime contractors as required Attend subcontractor meetings as required Immediately report all accidents, incidents and near misses occurring on the job site to supervisor Investigate all accidents on jobsites and report to the Safety Director as soon as possible (NLT the day it occurs) Enforce safety policies and procedures to include all subcontractors on a company jobsite Correct all hazards, unsafe conditions and practices immediately Conduct and document weekly safety talks with assigned employees Conduct daily walkthrough safety and jobsite inspections Maintain a safe and clean work site Provide and maintain all safety equipment necessary for the work site Maintain current Safety Data Sheets and First Aid / CPR proficiency Prepare and complete the project punch listSpecific qualifications for the Superintendent role include: 3-5+ years of experience as a Field Superintendent working on either Tenant Improvements (TI) or other construction projects ranging in size from $1 million+ required High School Diploma or Equivalent required Valid Driver's License a must OSHA 30 Hour Certification required Experience using Viewpoint software helpfulBenefits:RealStreet offers a comprehensive benefit package which includes: Health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage Life insurance Long-term disability 401(k) with generous company match Paid time off*In addition, company vehicle, cell phone and fuel card to be providedBuild a better construction career with RealStreet and contact us today!EOE M/F/D/V
