Area Retail Manager

For more information about GMS, visit www.gms.com or any one of our subsidiary company websites.Duties & Responsibilities:Manage product merchandising strategy and coordinate by location.Establish retail sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual retail sales quotas for all locations; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.Plan and manage showroom resets by location.Ensure execution of the developed retail sales strategies, plans and advertising or promotional programs.Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.Develop, forecast and monitor budget and utilize operational resources.Enhance retail sales staff by selecting and training employees.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Requirements:Business or Marketing Bachelor's Degree is preferredAbility to travel to all locationsAt least 5 years of sales experienceSpanish speaking ability preferredBuilding Materials or Construction industry experience preferredAbility to self-manage, lead others, and show strong initiativeCompany benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability & Life Insurance401kPaid holidays & vacation days Launch your career with a national building materials distributor and discover opportunities for growth and advancement.
