The Director of Portfolio Retail Marketing will be responsible for the direction and execution of an annual marketing, media and retailing strategy focused on driving performance connecting upper funnel brand activities through to lower funnel creative. This role will include managing an effective go-to-market strategy that supports key marketing objectives, supporting the portfolio of brands in driving conversion and repeat business, leveraging attribution models and driving the commercial performance of the enterprise. Responsibility will be specifically focused on above-the-line marketing efforts within the Americas while managing global coordination and mapping the customer experience, as well as retailing of offers in owned channels.What will I be doing?The Director of Portfolio Retail Marketing will be responsible for working closely across the enterprise and agency network to identify trends, business gaps and develop effective and creative media strategies to deliver business performance. A background in media, digital and digital retailing will be key to success in this position. The Director of Portfolio Retail Marketing will also need to be collaborative and work closely across Regional Marketing and eCommerce, Media and Marketing Performance, Commercial Services and Brand Marketing teams, leading the planning and direction of creative, media and channel activations to support performance objectives. Other key priorities are listed below: Manage the development of the annual tactical media and retailing strategy to drive weekly and quarterly performance objectives Manage the creative rotation and audience segmentation of the marketing efforts to ensure optimization Direct the annual marketing plan and support the development of the marketing strategy aligning to the Commercial Services objectivesDevelop strategies to connect upper funnel and lower funnel marketing efforts to drive higher acquisition and repeat customers Lead all sale and retail event marketing initiatives including coordination with global and regional teams Lead a team of two (2) Managers to execute regional marketing initiatives for specific destinations and markets across the Americas Analyze and provide weekly reports on performance, test and learn initiatives, and optimization plans on marketing initiativesWhat are we looking for?To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:High School diplomaA minimum of eight (8) years of experience in an agency or marketing role, including a minimum of two (2) years of experience working for a global company that has a portfolio of brands A minimum of four (4) years of media and digital retailing experienceA minimum of three (3) years of management experienceAbility to travel as required (25%)It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:BA/BA Bachelor's Degree A minimum of ten (10) years of agency or marketing experience, including a minimum of four (4) years of experience working within a top Fortune 500 global company with a portfolio of brands A minimum of six (6) years of digital media and retailing experience A minimum of five (5) years of management experienceGlobal experience working cross-culturally advantageous, including consumers and Team MembersWhat will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
