Customer Care Inside Sales Representative
Overview:The Customer Care Inside Sales Specialist provides world class, professional service to an established customer base by processing orders and increasing revenue to support the sale and marketing efforts of our supplier brands.Responsibilities:Service an established territory of accounts while increasing sales and providing consultative support and recommendations. Utilize established sales process to develop rapport and increase revenue through cross-selling, add-on sales and the presentation of promotional sale items. Proactively recommend items to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction probability.Respond in a timely manner to customer inquiries and ensure successful resolution through the use of available support tools. Utilize software including SAP, DSS, Microsoft Outlook and Excel to manage territory, accurately and efficiently enter orders and track results.Contact all customers in a timely and accurate manner as predefined in a daily call schedule. Keep accurate records of sales activity using daily call sheet and territory reports. Successfully perform against department metrics and individual sales goals.Identify and seek to continuously exceed the service requirements of customers and business units by building and managing positive relationships. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.Other duties as assigned.High School Diploma or equivalent required. 4-year college degree in related field, or equivalent experience, preferred.2- to 3-years previous success in a sales role strongly preferred.Experience in consumer products or distribution industry preferred.
