General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Property Control and Management Administrator in support of a Federal Intelligence Agency contract. In addition to receiving a competitive salary and generous health and personal benefits, the Property Admin will enhance their skill set among a talented and technically accomplished team of colleagues operating a customer's lab environment. 

 

The individual will manages government property and assets in accordance with contracts requirements, approved procedures, and government regulations.  These duties are in support of receiving, utilitization, inventory, material management, and disposition of federal owned equipment. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is accounted for and properly barcoded, storage and material rooms are organized, neat, and maintained. 

 

The individual will also maintain inventory database, including ensuring computer equipment conforms to naming conventions (# Ports, USB/PS2, VGA/DisplayPort,DVI), Provides and maintains records of receipts to individuals with property, and leverage using barcode scanners and Microsoft Excel.

Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

Qualifications 2-5 years of related property administration experience. 

 

General Knowledge of IT hardware/software or previous experience with an IT services contract is required.

Experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred.

 

This position requires the candidate to be able to lift 75lbs.
