Manages and develops computer systems applications related to customer logistics functions, address business requirements, and fit with company/customer system architecture standards. Supports customer logistics requirements through coordination with functional teams to develop requirements and implement system changes required to meet customer needs. 

  1. Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and designs computer systems to process data.
  2. Analyzes standard technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
  3. Analyzes systems and procedures to refine their formulation and converts them to programmable formats.
  4. Codes applications and tests to software requirements.
  5. Analyzes detail systems factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, and reliability characteristics.
  6. Writes or updates software specifications.
  7. Records all inputs and outputs of systems, including file sizes, data bank requirements, variability of information and appropriate statistical measures such as frequency, volume, peaking, etc.
  8. Prepares and updates documentation for new or existing systems.
  9. Troubleshoots and provides technical support and solutions to users.
  10. Monitors system effectiveness in satisfying user needs.
  11. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  12. Participates in special projects as required.

Education Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications 2-3 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.

Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures used in systems analysis and design.
Proficiency in the use of one or more specific technologies, depending on job assignment.
Professional Certification(s) may be required, depending on job assignment


Candidate must also be willing to learn the relationships between technology systems used by different parts of the company and know points of contact for each. Previous experience with Windows environments and Oracle software is desirable. Coding is also desirable, specifically SQL to create and modify reports/queries. Candidate should expect to work independently on day to day tasks such as responding to user-submitted tickets as well as work in a group setting on larger, long-term projects. Candidate will need to track tasks in multiple systems as well as e-mail requests from customers. The ideal candidate is organized, focused on customer satisfaction, shows care in his/her work, and is ready and willing to learn new software and technology. 


Candidate must possess an active secret clearance.
