Provide timely, professional, state of the art audio visual services for the customer. Maintenance includes, but is not limited to: preventative maintenance inspections, periodic cleaning of components, and restoral of AV systems. AV systems include but are not limited to: simple office briefing systems (computer interface to a monitor or television), secure corporate or executive level board rooms, standard conference rooms or training room presentation/briefing systems (single/multiple codecs, cameras, microphones, speakers, monitors, systems hardware and software include: Tandberg, V-Brick , AMX ,Switches and Routers, Projectors, electronic white boards, control interfaces, lighting control, etc.), video distribution systems (baseband, Radio Frequency (RF), or Internet Protocol (IP)) includes digital signage (CastNet Digital Signage and Internet Protocol Television system), complex watch centers, broadcast video production studios, or stand-alone/networked AV recording and playback systems. AV system restoral includes but is not limited to: equipment relocation, equipment replacement, repair, and installation of Audio Visual systems including digital signage and cable television systems to sustain mission accomplishment without interruption. Keep updated maintenance logs including wiring diagrams, IP listings, room diagrams, etc. for all supported conference rooms and classrooms. Installing multiple types of cable and making connectors for coax, cate5, XLR, ¼” phone, 1/8” stereo-mini, BNC’s, RCA, HDMI,DVI and VGA. AV Operations. Provide timely, professional, state of the art audio visual services for the customer. Audio visual operations include but are not limited to: set up of video presentations, scheduling and operation of video teleconferences, video productions, Video & Photography combined with non-linear editing. Scheduling Video Teleconferences (VTC’s) on a daily bases through the JWICS/VTC Wizard system which provides support to over 15 conference rooms serving OCI, JCITA, FAC, SEC & CIO. Provides software and system troubleshooting and support. Provides technical support and training to end-users. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians, and may have limited supervisory responsibilities. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participates in special projects as required, which may include training, briefing senior personnel, working with colleagues to schedule VTC and AV events, etc. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Education Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Qualifications 5-8 years of directly related experience supporting help desk operations.
