JOB SUMMARY:

About the Agency

This position will analyze/perform data management work necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, test, implement, or integrate data sets for solving problems or accomplishing work processes by using both commercial and open source software tools.

  • GS-12:

    To qualify, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level. Specialized experience is defined as experience assisting with data science project as a data scientist; assists with modeling complex process and workflow problems, reviews data analysis and complex design algorithms

    GS-13:

    To qualify, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is defined as experience assisting in implementing a data science project as a data scientist; needs and develop business requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory and IT security requirements


    GS-14:

    To qualify, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is defined as experience leading a data science project as a data scientist; develop, analyzing and presenting business requirements, implementing data solutions


    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
