Grade: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Greet all guests in a timely and engaging manner, assists guest in making their purchase, rings sales on the register, give correct change and sales receipt, and bags merchandise.Use selling skills/techniques and product knowledge to offer additional/alternative items to maximize guest service, establish trust, and increase units per transaction and average dollar saleComplete cashier reports and deposit forms and return bank to satellite cage per established cash handling and close-out proceduresMaintain floor standards and guest service standards.Fold and hang merchandise, replenish stock, maintain stock on racks, shelves, glass cases and armoires.Assists in preparation of physical inventory or cycle counts, including counting and performing inventory.Delegates shift housekeeping duties to maintain tidy appearance of sales floor.Enforces cash handling procedures (including counting cash, checks, charges, comps and completing settlement cards and envelopes).Sets and achieves personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the store and team.Support management with meeting sales goals and executing sales plans and special events (eg trunk shows) to achieve desired resultsLead team in sales training and development with direction from management. Document behavioral and performance issues; notify management. Provide periodic feedback on associate productivity and performance. Assist management with scheduling.Resolve guest issues and concerns within scope; including executing Point-of-sale overrides and approving exception in the absence of management; escalates issues and requests to management, as needed.Assist in the enforcement/and adherence to Division/Company policies and proceduresLead and delegate work of Stock Associates to ensure outlets are meeting established merchandising standardsMaintain a strong sense of pride and responsibility for the maintenance of shopping area.Work professionally in multiple store environments.Performs other job-related duties as requestedThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee in this position.
