Cvent's Global Demand Center is seeking an experienced, analytical-minded and data-oriented modern marketer to support ongoing analysis, data collection and reporting efforts across the entire marketing function. This lead will be responsible for crunching numbers to uncover opportunities for optimizing marketing programs and channels.Cvent's Global Demand Center manages the technology, processes and data that generate leads and demand for Cvent's suite of products. We are an internal shared-services agency housing digital, email, web and database marketing as well as full lifecycle campaign and program management and execution. This role will work across these channel owners to collect data and distill into insights that can be delivered to our global team of product and campaign strategists, and executives across sales and marketing to support strategic decision-making. The primary objective of this role is to maintain our reporting and analytics strategy, compiling data from Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce.com, Adobe Analytics, and a variety of other marketing tools including: call-tracking, content asset management, digital marketing, web personalization and many others. This person will develop and maintain metrics/reports/dashboards on campaign and program success, lead conversion, data acquisition and ultimately effectiveness of channels in driving sales pipeline and revenue. Candidates should have a strong understanding of data structures as they relate to CRM systems and marketing campaigns. Job Duties:Manage the build out of our advanced marketing analytics capabilities and operate as a key go-to insights person for the marketing teamCollect, furnish and package data and analytics needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness across marketing channelsMine lead data to uncover anomalies, trends and opportunities and then create actionable plans for improvementDesign and produce dashboards and regular reports to measure progress against all established KPIs, goals, and lead-gen activitiesUse strong, detailed analytical skills as well as business acumen to provide data and analysis to address business opportunitiesBachelor's degree in Quantitative Analytics, Math or Statistics, Econometrics, Business/Finance or related field3 - 6+ years of business experience, preferred background in marketing or statistics/mathematicsExpert knowledge in statistical analysis, segmentation, descriptive and predictive modeling, market research, testing, consulting and project managementStrong problem solving, business analysis and quantitative skills (and a curious nature to match)Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar toolsStrong knowledge of and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Domo, etc.) Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture Analytics or equivalent web analytics platforms is preferredExperience with CRM, marketing automation, digital attribution and campaign management a plusWorking knowledge of database design, applications, and data flows desiredKnowledge of the implementation, measurement and optimization of marketing campaignsExcellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail requiredStrong communication skills (Verbal & written); ability to provide concise, clear reporting and actionable analysisAbility to stay agile and focused in a fast-paced ever changing environment
