Job Description:
Sentara Medical Group is seeking an experienced Physician Recruitment Manager to work in Harrisonburg, Virginia area.

This position requires 8 years experience in physician recruitment and demonstrated knowledge of industry software tools, and regulatory compliance requirements governing physician employment, demonstrated progression of responsibilities in job duties Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related fields.

The Physician Recruitment and Contracting Manager manages systems, processes and staff in the development and execution of strategic plans to support the provider talent acquisition department of the Medical Group. Demonstrates strong strategic skills in business planning with sound technical and analytical ability, good judgement, strong operations focus and usage of metrics. Formulates action plans, manages change and works through ambiguity. Partners with colleagues to reach optimal outcomes on Fair Market Value Assessments; employment contract development, preparation, execution and administration; Locum Tennon coordination and contracting; provider onboarding and integration process; and medical staff privileging. Leads support staff to provide an excellent employee and candidate experience, achieve operational standards, negotiate and maintain vendor contracts, ROI and metrics, recruitment expenses, event planning logistics. Leads performance improvement activities and manages fiscally responsible budget.
