JOB SUMMARY:

About the Agency

The selectee for this position will serve as a General Business Industrial Specialist in the Research and Engineering Group of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

THIS IS AN EXPEDITED HIRING AUTHORITY ANNOUNCEMENT. The Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) FY 2009 provides that the Secretary of Defense can designate acquisition positions as shortage positions and recruit and appoint highly qualified persons to these positions. This announcement is open to accept resumes from candidates interested in helping the Department of the Navy meet our mission requirements for the acquisition of systems, equipment and facilities.

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate all of the following: 1) Assisting in the development of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and other schedule related products; 2) Establishing a schedule baseline that reflects a critical path; and 3) Ensuring all schedule products are accurate, timely, and consistent.

    DAWIA: This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional education, training and experience. This position has been identified as a Career Field Business Financial Management at Level II.
