Join the team! This position is located in the Office of Facilities Services (EXFS). The Office provides CPSC with the full range of facilities and support services, including, but not limited to, property management, building services, rent, managing Common Cost Budget, Personal Identification Verification (PIV) issuer and enrollment, safety, physical security management, office services, printing, mail, metro transit benefit program, shuttle services, and warehousing and sample management programs.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirements of the position within thirty (30) days of the closing date of this announcement.
Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: 1) Experience interpreting and executing OSHA guidelines; 2) experience in applying procedures and regulations applicable to emergency preparedness, storage, and transportation/fleet services; 3) experience managing safety and space management programs, and 4) preparing and executing budget activities for contracts.
There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-13 grade level. All candidates must meet the specialized experience outlined below.
Upon appointment, you will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450. You will need to provide the information annually.
This is a Public Trust Position. Employment in this position requires a background investigation. If you are selected and cannot obtain a favorable security determination within a reasonable period of time due to disclosed or undisclosed background issues, the tentative employment offer may be withdrawn.
Selectee must possess a valid State motor vehicle operator's license.
Moderate physical exertion is required such as lifting and carrying (15-50 lbs) as well as intermittent strenuous activity such as climbing ladders, crawling, kneeling and bending.
Local travel may be required.
