The George Mason University Office of the Provost seeks qualified candidates for an Administrative Assistant in the Division for Enrollment Management. Responsibilities: This position will provide administrative support to the Director of Enrollment Management, Director of Integrated Enrollment Marketing, and Director of International Enrollment Partnerships; as well as general office functions for the Division of Enrollment Management, including fiscal and human resources activities. Some examples of specific tasks are: * Manage the Directorsâ€™ appointment calendars, answer phones, and facilitate timely and correct submission of travel authorization and reimbursement forms and other paperwork; * Serve as a point of contact for all office maintenance requests, including Facilities work orders, telecommunications work orders, and desk/office space considerations; * Assist in the administrative aspects of the hiring process for the affiliated teams; * Prepare and submit travel forms, electronic human resource actions, and procurement requests; * Maintain organized electronic and paper files; and * Other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications: * Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and general office operations; * Possess the ability to work under pressure and with diverse populations; and * Ability to demonstrate the skill to communicate well at many levels within the organizational structure and in a professional manner.
