Ashleigh at Lansdowne Retirement and Assisted Living Community is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Move-In Coordinator to assist the Director of Community Relations with marketing/sales, external events, referrals and tours at their premier assisted living community in Leesburg, Virginia. This is a full time position which offers full time benefits, including health, dental, life and a competitive 401K.Some of the Move-In Coordinator functions are as follows: Markets the Community effectively. Schedules appointments and tours with potential residents upon request. Coordinates residents move in, move out and in-house transfers. Maintains accurate daily census. Maintains accurate, organized residents pre-admission, move in, and discharge documentation. Maintains accurate, organized documentation of apartment inspections and related work orders. Actively networks under the direction of the Director of Community Relations to ensure the Community is represented as an attractive long term care option in the local community. * Facilitates new residents' integration as members of the Community. Exhibits superb customer relations internally and externally. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Community Relations. The Move-In Coordinator must meet these job requirements: Must be able to work flexible hours during days, evenings and weekends. Must possess transportation and be willing to travel locally in support of networking and marketing functions. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form. Must possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Must possess sales ability and strong customer service skills. Must be familiar with Windows operating systems, MS Office, email software, internet browsers, and fax machines. Must have a high school diploma or equivalency. One year of work with the elderly is preferred. Must be able to understand and carry out all RUI community policies and procedures. Must be able to exert up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
