Interstate Van Lines Marketing CoordinatorSUMMARY Work as a team member with the Marketing Director andcolleagues to provide marketing support to all business units. Responsible forthe administration of marketing initiatives including, but not limited to,sponsorships/donations, events, job tracking, campaigns and brandinginitiatives. Provide coordination and support for various marketing projects,initiatives and activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Provide support for tradeshow and other internal andexternal event planning and execution, to include taking photographs of suchevents. May occasionally require evening/or weekend hours.Coordinate and prepare weekly internal newsletter. Write and post social media content.Prepare and maintain job jackets, job tracking log,vendor and photo files, donation and community service files, e-blast metricsreports, marketing and social media binders, and other reports. Work with vendors for order/fulfillment requests. Keeptrack of promotional product usage. Provide departmental administrative support includingcorrespondence, mail, preparing check requests, purchase orders, hospitality(event tickets) and assisting in maintaining departmental files anddatabases. Function as departmental liaison on select marketingprojects with business units and internal and external contacts on communityservice and sponsorships. Maintain written job procedures.Copywriting/copyediting for marketing materials,newsletters and advertising, websites, social media and other materials asneeded. Minimum two-three years marketing experience preferred. Solid understandingof processes and project management skills relative to marketing projects forprint, direct mail, social media, website, trade shows, and/or event planning.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret generalbusiness periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, orgovernmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence,and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respondto questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the generalpublic.REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with avariety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizationexists.
