Do you have experience preparing meals from scratch yet accustomed to a set menu? Then this is the place for you! You will prepare perfectly aged meats, fresh seafood, and other unique scratch-made specialties for guests while having the support and strong financial backing of a large restaurant corporation. You will have the opportunity to have ongoing training and development, You will work with some of the best and brightest managers in the restaurant industry. Responsibilities:*The Sous Chef is responsible for supporting and leading a team of culinary professionals*Deliver high-quality, great tasting food*Contributes to building top line sales and guest count through the delivery of a competitively superior team member and guest experience.*The Sous Chef works with the Executive Chef and ensures menu items are executed with excellence in the restaurant.*Ensures quality in all aspects of their job.Qualifications:*Must have upscale casual or casual dining experience in a small, upscale chain, regional chain, or national chain.*Logical, steady career progression.*Highly prefers local candidates, looking to advance and grow with the company*No more than 3 jobs in 7 years.*Must show good P&L skills, product knowledge, customer service skills.*Must be comfortable and accustomed to dealing with upscale clientele.*Accustomed to sales volume of at least $2 Million per year.Must have 2-3 years (RECENT) Restaurant Chef experience in Upscale Casual Dining RestaurantExcellent Job Tenure - no more than 3 jobs in 7 yearsMust live within 40 minutes of location.No exceptions please.
