This HireStrategy client, a prestigious and established law firm in DC, is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to support their busy office. The ideal candidate will have tenured administrative support experience within financial services or real-estate.Primary Responsibilities: The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide administrative assistance to a team of attorneys The Legal Administrative Assistant will manage calendar events, schedule meeting and manage database entries Handle preparation of court documents and organize and file cases daily to ensure the productivity of the firm The Legal Administrative Assistant will conduct research and effectively aide the settlement of numerous cases Correspond with clients via email and telephone to determine the status of pending refunds and provided tax projections for corporations The Legal Administrative Assistant will maintain a positive working relationship with state and county departments to schedule hearings, depositions, and ensure the confidentiality of the client's propertiesQualifications: Bachelor's degree required 3 years of tenured administrative support experience (preferably in financial services or real-estate) Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically in Excel Experience managing projects or supervising staff is preferred Ability to work in fast-paced environments with shifting deadlines Possesses a proactive and self-motivated work ethic Strong attention to detail and highly organized
