Responsibilities of this role will include: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including, but not limited to, purchase agreements, term sheets, license agreements, venture agreements, technology and IT agreementsAssisting with various commercial legal matters, including advising and negotiating corporate transactional matters, overseeing and executing M&A and investments, and intellectual property mattersReviewing regulatory requirements for the business as necessaryCollaborating with subsidiary executives and counsel, outside counsel, and internal managementConducting legal research as necessaryRequirements:3-4 years corporate and transactional law experience at a leading law firm. Broadcast, FCC or other media law related experience a plusJ.D. from an ABA accredited law school with exceptional academic credentials with a law school class rank of at least the top 20%Admission to at least one State BarExcellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational and computer skillsDemonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively and provide leadership to the teamLocal candidates (Baltimore region) preferred but relocation may be considered for the right candidate Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!
