Pontoon is looking for a Technical Sourcer for a large client of ours in Herndon, VA. This is a temp to hire role, for a junior to mid level candidate, who will be responsible for the sourcing of technical candidates.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Develop strong relationships and partner with Senior Staff Recruiters * Work closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process * Work with hiring managers and Senior Recruiters to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria. * Regular follow up with the respective recruiters, hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process. * Will take positive steps to support and promote the recruitment, retention and development programs for our shareholders* Assist in the opening and closing of personnel requisitions* Assist with projects, proposal efforts and contract stand up requirements* Strong understanding and ability to source at all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff.* Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team based project experience.* Decisive ability to shift priorities and function effectively in a dynamic fast paced work culture.* Strong understanding of the recruiting aspects involved in the Government proposal environment. * Flexibility to work surge hours as required during proposal time frames.* Clear understanding of the recruitment life-cycle processes.* Working within a team environment* US Citizen* Experience recruiting for personnel up to the TS/SCI with poly* 3 years corporate recruiting experience with a government contractor. Agency experience is a plus* 3+ years of experience with recruiting in the IT/technical world, with some intel experience as well* Experience with high volume sourcing* Strong work ethic and confidentiality is a must* Experience using a variety of online recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (Taleo experience is a plus), as well as experience with Microsoft Office* Ability to with minimal supervision and guidance is essential.* Knowledge of EEO, ADA and OFCCP requirementsCLICK HERE TO APPLY!
