The Health and Civilian Solutions Division of GDIT has an exciting opportunity for a Proposals Analyst to join our proposals team in Fairfax, VA.  The Proposals Analyst will be responsible for the planning, coordination, development, and production of proposals.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    Administers and coordinates activities involved in the development and revision of proposals.Serves as Proposal Coordination Lead to direct production efforts with assistance of the production group.Creates proposal templates in accordance with compliance matrices in concert with proposal managerPerforms desktop publishing for all color reviews and submissions (hard-copy and electronic). Coordinates with the graphics and marketing team as needed for proposal development and on oral presentations May coordinate with subcontractors to collect data required for proposal development.Develops RFP/Proposal cross-reference matrix in concert with proposal manager.Responsible for administration and operation of web-based collaborative tools for proposal development such as SharePointMay perform as Junior Proposal Manager on RFIs and small proposalsParticipates in special projects as required.

Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

    2-5 years of proposal preparation and analysis experience for a government contractor or equivalent technical experience.Expertise using the following software programs is required
      SharePoint 2010 or aboveAdobe PDFMS Office Suite - Emphasizing the following programs: MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
    Knowledge of the following software is a plus: Visio, Adobe Illustrator and MS Project 2010 or aboveStrong Organizational skillsAbility to complete work under tight deadlinesStrong Written and Verbal communication skills
