GDIT is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a large Identity and Access Management (IdAM) contract. The Senior Systems Engineer will have the technical business acumen and the ability to communicate and write at various technical and management levels. Under the guidance of the GDIT PM and the customer POC’s, the candidate will fulfill the role of assisting with leading the direction on technical implementations and system integration of solutions. 

The candidate will have experience with Linux and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IdAM services and solutions. These services are designed to be highly available, robust, resilient and supportable. The candidate will interface with engineering teams that develop identity and access services as well as sustainment teams that support the operational services.

  

Education 1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

 2. Masters degree preferred.

Qualifications 15-20 years of related systems engineering experience.

  • Experience with Red Hat “command line” administration
  • IdAM Technologies
  • Patching
  • LDAP Directory Services
  • DNS configuration and troubleshooting
  • Security hardening
  • Performance tuning
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Network troubleshooting
  • PKI
  • Network configuration files & scripts, traceroute, Wireshark
  • Experience with virtualization—VM Ware
  • CISSP preferred 
Desired Experience: 

  • Oracle DSEE administration
