An immediate need for a Windows / Network Administrator for General Dynamics Health Solutions.  A qualified candidate would include the following experience in various server, storage, network and application technologies that may include:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Cisco UCS series server hardware
  • VMWare Vsphere 5.5 and 6.5
  • Solarwinds server, storage, network, application and database performance monitoring
  • Cisco WAN and LAN infrastructure devices
  • Experience or knowledge of the following would be a plus:
  • Windows Server 2016
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Citrix Netscaler
  • Citrix Xenapp
  • SQL Server 2012
Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications 8-10 years of experience in a Server/Network Administrator role in the following areas:

  • Cisco Firewall and switch management
  • Cisco VPN management
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 – 2012 R2 administration
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • VMWare VSphere administration
  • Enterprise monitoring & alerting
  • Monthly patching and hot fix processes
  • Backup, restore, and data recovery processes
  • Server hardening for security best practices
  • Change, Incident, Problem and Release Management
  • Infrastructure Lifecycle Management
  • Disaster Recovery planning and testing
