Principal Analyst, Operations
GDIT is looking for a candidate to support the Combine Arm Center, Vice Provost for Learning Systems (VPLS) branch. In direct support of the Learning Enterprise quality control process in its review of learning products for compliance with sound lesson design, and regulatory and proponency requirements, managed by Army University. Direct responsibilities for conducting quality control analysis of Operational and Institutional training products to include primarily Individual Tasks, Collective Tasks and Lesson Plans. Knowledge of Course Administrative Data (CAD), Training Support Packages (TSP), Individual Training Plans (ITPs) and Programs of Instruction (POI). Individual will conduct in-depth analysis of products submitted by Army proponents. Focus of analysis is to ensure training products comply with appropriate Army and TRADOC Regulations and Pamphlets for standardization purposes, ensuring products are grammatically correct, clear, concise and error free. Provides military subject matter expertise to assigned programs.1. Provides advanced analytical and technical support to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise. 2. Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion. 3. Gathers, processes, and analyzes operational data. 4. Assists with the testing and development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs. 5. Identifies and recommends emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes. 6. Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials. 7. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff, and may have supervisory responsibilities. 8. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas. 9. Participates in special projects as required. Education Bachelors Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience. Qualifications
- 8-10 years of related experience supporting military operations.
- Knowledge of task development process to review Operational and Institutional products translating training development policy into practical applications for Training Development Capability (TDC) software procedures.
- Above average proficiency with Microsoft office products is needed. Knowledge of basic database design and operations, knowledge management principles and document storage expertise desirable.
