This vacancy is being announced under the Pathways Recent Graduates Program.

The Pathways Recent Graduates Program allows recent graduates to enter into a career at EXIM in entry level professional positions. This new program offers formal training, an assigned mentor and a developmental career path within the Bank. Successful applicant(s) will enter into a written agreement for a year or two depending on the position. During this program, you are entitled to the EXIM's full benefits package including health insurance. Successful completion of this program may lead to a permanent position.

Who may be considered:
Individuals who have obtained a qualifying Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, Doctorate, Vocational or Technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution, within the previous 2 years.

OR

Individuals who will obtain a qualifying Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, Doctorate, Vocational or Technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution within 90 days from the date of application. Applicants must provide proof of degree conferral prior to appointment.

OR

Veterans (as defined in 5 U.S.C. 2108) who were unable to apply within 2 years of obtaining a qualifying Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, Doctorate, Vocational or Technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution due to their military service obligation. Veterans have a full 2-year eligibility period to apply upon his/her release or discharge from active duty. The eligibility period for veterans must be within 6 years of degree completion.

    US citizens who have graduated recently from qualifying educational institutions or programs. To be eligible, applicants must apply within 2 years of degree or certificate completion, except for veterans (as defined in 5 U.S.C. 2108) precluded from doing so due to their military service obligation, who will have up to 6 years after degree or certificate completion. Successful applicants will be placed in a dynamic, career development program.

    In addition to the Requirement noted above, applicants must also meet and demonstrate the specialized experience listed below:

    Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work):

    GS-11: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience have have been equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal Government: Specialized experience includes:

    • Experience designing and managing the implementation of marketing content
    • Experience formulating digital outreach campaigns and tracking communication and results
    • Experience using a CRM database to track and retrieve data
    OR

    If you are substituting education for experience to qualify at this level, you must have 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.

    OR

    If you are combining both education and specialized experience to qualify for this level, equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for this grade level.

    GS-12: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience have have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Government: Specialized experience includes:
    • Experience designing and managing the implementation of marketing content
    • Experience formulating digital outreach campaigns and tracking communication and results
    • Experience in assisting in the development of communication plans and digital outreach campaigns
    • Experience using a CRM database to track and retrieve data

    Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above requirements if you can show that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    Part-time and/or unpaid experience related to this position will be considered to determine the total number of years and months of experience. Be sure to note the number of paid or unpaid hours worked each week.

    PROGRAM COMPLETION AND CONVERSION ELIGIBILITY:

    This is an Excepted Service appointment. Program participants MAY be converted, without a break in service, to a competitive service appointment upon completion of program requirements. To be eligible for conversion, Recent Graduates must:
    • Complete one year of work experience acquired through the Recent Graduate Program
    • Complete 40 hours of formal interactive training
    • Meet the qualification standards for the position to which the Recent Graduate will be converted
    • Meet any agency-specific requirements specified in the Participant's Agreement
    • Demonstrate successful job performance that results in a rating of record of at least Fully Successful and a recommendation for conversion by the first level supervisor
