The Membership And Development Assistant is responsible for utilizing the Tessitura fundraising database for a variety of development needs, primarily gift entry (memberships, donations, pledge fulfillment); financial reconciliation; create reports and queries, including mailing lists and constituent reports; database photo ID management and list management for special events.  Other Membership fulfillment duties as assigned plus assistance with direct mail membership campaigns.   Tasks are variable from week to week based on department needs.

A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is plus a minimum of two years’ experience in non-profit membership administration, preferably in a public museum or cultural institution.   Warm, professional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with Museum members, the general public and staff will be integral to your success.  Demonstrated proficiency with Tessitura software is required.
