As a Branch Member Service Associate, you will deliver exceptional customer service in our branches while successfully promoting and selling NASA FCU products and services. The Branch Member Service Associate position is a tiered position with formal training modules - YOU control your career advancement as you learn and execute new skills. In addition to a solid compensation package, there are opportunities for incentive pay for cross-selling needs-based products and services. There are part-time opportunities for those that can commit to a two-week full-time training program.We offer a generous full-time benefit package:Competitive compensation: $17.00 - $18.50 hourly plus monthly incentive bonuses401(k) match to 5% of earnings - immediate enrollment and 100% vestingChoice of two health plans - 80% employer contributionDental - 85% employer contributionLife Insurance - no costLong-term Disability Insurance - no costEmployee Assistance Program - no costPaid vacationPaid sick time10 Paid holidaysProfit Sharing eligibleResponsibilities:Empathizes with members and provides solutions to make it easy for members to acquire and effectively use NASA FCU products and services.Identifies member needs to provide solutions on products that meet the member's needs and facilitate the member's financial security.Responds to member inquiries regarding the operation of accounts, interest rates on savings and loan products, account discrepancies, credit, debit and ATM cards and loan applications.Processes a variety of financial transactions on member accounts including deposits, withdrawals, funds transfers loan payments, check orders, share certificates, ACH/Payroll/Direct Deposit, Wire Transfers, and Stop Payment set up and changesHandles complex member situations such as Deceased Member, Guardianships, and Representative Payee accountsHandles consumer loan and home equity application processing, document collection, and disbursementsAdvise members regarding available insurance protection (life, disability, gap, etc.) All MSAs may be temporarily assigned to other branches or departments (Call Center) in order to meet the business needs of the Credit Union.Work Schedule: All MSA's are scheduled to work a minimum of two Saturdays per month including MSA's assigned to branches without Saturday hours. Branches are expected to support the Call Center one designated night per week until 6:00pm. The typical work week is approximately 40 hours. Scheduled hours begin 30 minutes prior to opening and end 30 minutes after close. Annapolis MD Branch: Open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Friday, and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday.High school diploma or general education certification (GED). Outside Hires:MSA III - Minimum of six months of relevant experience with advanced teller transactions and consumer/ home equity application processing. Requirements for Internal Advancement to MSA II & III: Completion of required Program training courses (classroom and online) and consistent demonstration of knowledge and skills.
