The role of the Director of Design has specific tasks and goals as outlined below, these goals and task will change and/or be refined over time, developing and evolving in a continuous pursuit of perfection. The priority of your position is to successfully lead the efficient operations of the Design Department in such a way as to achieve: Positive working atmosphere for your team. CoConstruct Implementation and Maintenance. Superb customer experience. Stated financial objectives. The Key Performance Indicators for this Role are: $400,000 in new sales and/or renovation agreements per month. Maintain a monthly minimum of $2 million in the contracted pipeline. $5.2 million in annual revenue for Construction Department. 25% gross profit margin. (calculated Gross Profit/Gross Revenue) Assist in obtaining a combined divisional revenue of greater than $9 million for Lothorian LLC. Included specifically as the core tasks of this position are: Direct management of Design team members according to Company standards. Organization of daily work flow for all Design team members. Active involvement in new customer and renovation sales leads and closure. Maintaining and communicating weekly hot sheet with relevant metrics to Management. Conducting weekly team meetings. Hiring and dismissing Employees according to the established Company guidelines. Effectively creating a written scope for each project Effectively creating a written estimate for each project. Effectively creating written contracts and/or change orders. Active oversight and management of contract and/or change order execution. Active oversight and management of department financials. Active oversight and management of department receivables. Active oversight and management of department hardware and software. Appropriate department interface with Finance, Purchasing, Construction.The Director of Design reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Thompson. The following Employee(s) report directly to you: Design team The schedule for this position will be: Full time as defined as 8:00 am to 5:00 pm In season will demand extra time, season defined as March 15th through October 15th.
