OVERVIEW We are currently seeking an Analyst to support our growing Capital Markets Practice Group in Baltimore, MD. The Group provides investment brokerage, advisory and investment banking services to corporations, institutions, public companies, fund managers, financial institutions and property developers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSGather and evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data for input into project specific deliverablesPerform complex financial analyses with minimal supervision, including cash flow projections, valuation models, and sensitivity analysesPrepare monthly articles for newsletters and periodic research pieces for special events and presentationsPrepare proposals and offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits utilizing effective work planning capabilitiesAssist with preparation of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Finance or Real EstateExcellent academic credentialsMinimum 1 year of work experience in Finance or Real EstateProficiency (and workplace experience) in ARGUS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESAbility to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverablesAdvanced internet research capabilitiesStrong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is requiredExcellent written and oral communication skills (applicant will need to submit previous work product)Ability to work independently and within a team on a wide variety of projectsAbility to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workloadAbility to reprioritize tasks on a daily basis given varying team requirementsAdvanced understanding of real estate fundamentals, economic metrics, and research processesA desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment PLEASE NOTE: The candidate must be based at our Baltimore, MD office.
