Building Futures.JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Program Manager provides comprehensive management of assigned housing programs for men, women and children, ensuring that the programs and services are in accord with best practice standards, contract and grant requirements and agency practices and procedures. Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, staff management and quality practices of all assigned program; seeks and develops outside funding sources; and liaises with external community partners.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:Provides administrative supervision of 6 full time employees and 2 part time employees.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and oversee the administrative and daily operations of the assigned housing programs in support of overall program goals and objectives Provide leadership and direction to all program staff, consultants and volunteers; supervise program supervisors and oversee staff supervision, which includes recruiting, staffing, hiring, performance evaluation, training and professional development; set standards for customer service; conduct regular staff meetings; communicate policies and procedures; and facilitate team dynamics Manage program budget and expenditures to ensure that available funds and resources are used efficiently Perform liaison activities with community partners, including contract monitors. Attend community seminars, outreach events and government/private foundation events; and participate in government hearings to advocate for Agency and social programs Establish and implement development goals to ensure that resources are available to sustain the program Oversee and maintain quality program practices, ensuring compliance with best practice standards, contract grant requirements and agency practices and procedures Senior Program ManagerEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Master's degree in human services field required 5 years of progressively responsible non-profit experience in program management 3 years of supervisory experience required SKILLS and COMPETENCIES: Knowledge of management principles and practices Knowledge of budgeting and fiscal management principles Knowledge of contracts and grants preparation and management Program planning and implementation skills Driving is required.
