Poker Guest Service Representative - Poker (MGM National Harbor)
Grade: POSITION SUMMARY:The Poker Guest Service Representative is responsible for greeting of customers when they enter the room. They will also assist in maintaining poker table banks as well as adhering to all state and regulatory compliances.Please note: By applying to this position, you acknowledge that you may be considered for Full-Time, Part-Time or On-Call employment.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:* Tracking players by using computer tracking system.* Get players checked and maintain poker table banks to ensure efficient operation.* Assist in the placement of guests into games.* Develop customer relations and facilitating usage of the one club card.* Maintain set ups to return to poker tables.* Greet customers as they enter the room.* Answer questions for guests.* Attending to guests needs.* Maintain a clean and safe environment.* Other job related duties as requested. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:* N/A EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Required:* High school diploma or equivalent* Effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral formsPreferred:* At least one (1) year of experience in poker or table games preferred* Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language* Previous experience working in a similar resort setting CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:* Gaming License* Proof of eligibility to work in the United States KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:* Some knowledge of all poker games and procedures* Basic and intermediate math skills, computer literate, telephone communication.* Excellent customer service skills.* Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.* Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
