You'll find that this is place where you can do your life's best work.(sm)Primary Responsibilities:Utilize systems and automation to drive and improve accurate general ledger activity and financial reportingAudit newly implemented plans and contracts for financial reporting impacts; share new policy data with other team members to ensure FTS Tagging is set up appropriatelyAccept & track financial reporting errors identified by the Accounting staff relating to case installation issuesPerform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with various departments to resolve case install issuesDevelop case install documentation including; detailed analysis, case install tracking, and policies and proceduresConduct meetings to share information and review status updates for all case install issuesTake a leadership role in supporting projects as a Subject Matter Expert including; requirements analysis, writing and execution of test cases, and modification of business processesDrive process improvements including developing innovative approaches for increased efficiency and effectivenessSupport the integration of financial systems for new acquisitionsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Health Administration or related field3+ year of experience in business/finance with analysis and reporting experienceIdeal candidate for this role has accounting experience or education but is interested in utilizing systems and automation to drive and enhance financial reportingHigh level of proficiency with MS ExcelExperience with querying large data setsAble to work independently, as well as collaborate with various teams throughout UHCDemonstrates critical thinking and intellectual curiosity with the ability resolve issues/questionsPreferred Qualifications:Understanding of SAS and/or SQLExperience with MS AccessHealthcare or insurance industry experienceProject experienceUnderstanding of data storage structuresCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
