Market Research Analyst
The Market Analytics Research Analyst supports the Business Development, Implementation and Operations functions of Allegis Global Solutions primarily by advising management/executive levels of our clients on pricing models, market based pricing and cost savings potential. They additionally will perform various economic research to advise clients on the sourcing of labor based on trends in industries, occupations, or economies both globally, nationally and locally. ExpectationsA Research Analyst is expected to understand economic data related to labor markets and provide thoughtful written analysis and verbal presentation of this dataA Research Analyst is expected to understand pricing data, sources and methodology and professionally present these to executive level client sponsorship and AGS program teams.A Research Analyst is expected to produce written analysis in the form of blogs, white papers, infographics or other web content.A Research Analyst is expected to take initiative to seek out and gain client, industry and business knowledge pertinent to their role.A Research Analyst is expected to fulfill ad hoc requests of Senior Analysts, Managers/Directors of the Market Analytics team as well as client sponsorship and program office teams.A Research Analyst is expected to be an engaged member of the Market Analytics team, contributing to discussions, analysis and writing relating to all aspects of this role.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch Analyst will advise client sponsorship and program operations on pricing models, market based pricing and cost savings initiatives through the implementation of rate cards with new clients and client expansions. The analyst will serve as the main POC on new client implementations and is expected to be able to use judgement to advise clients on the best way to set up pricing for the sourcing of contingent labor. The research analyst will present analysis and recommendations in a professional manner to executive levels of Fortune 1000 companies.Research Analyst will serve as the main POC for one or more regions to advise current clients on pricing models, market based pricing and cost savings initiatives through the regular review of rate cards and market dynamics. The research analyst is expected to be able to present analysis and recommendations in a professional manner to executive levels of Fortune 1000 companies.Research Analyst will create quarterly Local Market Analysis publications advising client sponsorship, client hiring managers and AGS program teams of labor market conditions and how this could impact their sourcing over the course of the quarter.Research Analyst will create Talent Maps to assess skillsets in a market in order for program teams to make recommendations to hiring managers around sourcing strategy and suggested changes.Research Analyst will clean and manipulate data sets from a variety of internal and external databases for use by the Market Analytics team as well as the greater BI team at AGS.Research Analyst will handle a wide variety of ad hoc research projects as requested by client sponsorship, present research findings and advise on how the research findings should impact client sourcing decisions Ad hoc/by request economic and client research.Research Analyst will create various ad hoc research projects in support of AGS, AG OpCos and ACS corporate strategic planning efforts. Required SkillsMust be a critical thinker who can take data and interpret it into actionable information for clientsMust show strong drive, initiative and ownership in all aspects of their work. Must be a self-starter and independent worker, capable of meeting expectations with minimal oversightMust be comfortable working with a remote team Must have strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal). Must have strong problem solving capabilities, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks concurrentlyMust have excellent time management skills and the ability to hit aggressive deadlines.Must have the ability to build relationships with key individuals.Must have a strong sense of humor and enjoy social interaction within and outside the immediate teamMust have advanced knowledge of MS Excel (proficiency with v-lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas etc.) EducationB.S. or MA in Economics strongly preferred.
