POSITION SUMMARYThis position works with the Manager, Creative Services to develop interactive multimedia strategies and solutions that support COPT's marketing, brand and overall business objectives. Ensures successful representation of COPT's brands in the online/digital/multimedia realm. Hands-on responsibilities include design, development, production, management, user interface, maintenance and delivery for websites, videos and interactive campaigns and presentations; also oversees external resources. Participates in the strategic ideation process through the innovation, conceptual design, technical alignment, creative development and implementation of interactive/digital projects. Recommends use of new technologies that provide tactical support for strategic marketing initiatives. Administers COPT's online presence across multiple platforms, including day-to-day management of the company's branded digital assets (COPT websites, e-newsletters, blogs, videos, etc.), including both content and design. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1. Web presence: Take proactive lead in designing, developing, testing, deployment and managing all aspects of COPT's online presence, ensuring optimum website usability, relevancy and simplicity for customers. Manage all website updates and recommends improvements. Design and create new sites as necessary and manages content on all existing sites. 2. Digital/multimedia presentations, videos, etc.: Create and design dynamic digital presentations, videos and animated images for online content and other presentations using interactive applications. Projects could include dynamic web landing pages, branding and/or sales pitch presentations and RFP responses, web advertising, the holiday e-card, etc. Responsible for storyboarding, wire framing, designing and researching media production tools & techniques to suggest improvements.3. SEO/analytics: Ensure optimum website and digital asset usability and relevancy. Implement search engine optimization (SEO), analyze web stats, make use of link building and database management along with web analytic tools. Report on website and online presentation performance, make recommendations and implement improvements.4. New technologies: Lead the concept, creative strategy and technical development of new media advertising and marketing products. Recommend and implement approved new technologies for supporting strategic marketing initiatives and digital presentations. 5. HTML coding of campaigns: Create HTML marketing emails and invitations.6. Overseeing external resources: Hire and direct voice over talent, models, videographers, editors and/or other talent needed for projects.SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Design content and functionality for mobile applications for the iPhone, iPad, Android, mobile web, etc. - Create sales, marketing and communications materials and collateral.- Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor's degree in Graphic/Digital Design, Communications Arts, Visual Arts or other relevant discipline.Professional Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in mid-level, hands-on creative services position, specifically the design and development of interactive and multi-media presentations, websites and videos, including proven experience in UX/UI and visual design.Computer Skills Expert knowledge of interactive and multi-media design/software programs, including Flash, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS,FinalCutPro, Adobe Creative Cloud (including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and graphical user interface, as well as Content Management Systems (WordPress and/or others), responsive web design. Advanced knowledge of Search Engine Optimization techniques. Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Power Point, Word, Excel). Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and Soundbooth a plus.Mobility Infrequent travel to out of state company offices/projectsOther Requirements Has expert knowledge of graphics and animation software and web technologies, for both Mac and PC. Strong project management skills. Self starter with great attitude and great energy. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to work under pressure, perform several tasks concurrently and organize own work to meet deadlines. Knowledge of Web2.0 technologies, including social networking, blogs, RSS feeds. Audio and video compression knowledge a plus.
