Business Development and Sales Executive, Private Duty Home Care Location: Based out of Towson - Baltimore, MD Position: Private Duty Homecare Business Development and Sales Status: Exempt FULL TIME Salary: Base + Incentive Join a leader in the home health care industry. We excel at providing a higher standard of care for Baltimore County/City and the clients we serve. Do you have what it takes to sell a premier brand? We have an existing strong presence but have the opportunity to really expand in our market. There is tremendous opportunity and the incentive plan has no cap. Position Summary: This individual is responsible for generating private duty business for the Baltimore County/City territory and consistently increasing sales. The focus is on personalized sales calls to establish and maintain relationships with referral sources and ask for the business. Calls on: hospitals, rehabs, independent senior living facilities, assisted living and LTC facilities. Also calls on physicians, attorneys, financial planners and eldercare facilities in order to generate sales for Private Duty care. Meets with clients and their families, develops trust and closes sales. Creates a strong presence in the community and actively promotes our brand. Responsibilities: * Develops new and ongoing relationships calling on healthcare facilities, physicians, attorneys, financial planners, hospitals, clinics and eldercare facilities in order to generate Private Duty sales. * Conducts regular outside sales calls to potential and existing referral sources, 80% of the job function. * Meets or exceeds established sales targets. Use the CRM system to manage relationships. * Understands our service lines and educates referral sources on our differentiators and the referral process. * Communicates the benefits of home healthcare services to both referral sources and consumers * Develops Marketing/Sales Plans with a focus on expansion and growth; assessing community needs, marketing strategy/objectives, identifying key accounts and the development of specific marketing action items with measurable goals. * Joins and attends area networking and industry groups. * Takes prospect/referral calls and manages the sales process. * Converts prospects to clients through building trust, follow-up and effective listening. * Identifies new opportunities in the marketplace and creates products, services and marketing materials to address new opportunities * Effective communication with the office staff, referral sources and prospective clients and their families resulting in closed sales. * Works with the other Sales and Marketing staff members to help organize combined sales efforts May Directly Supervise: * Marketing Intern or Marketing Assistant Qualifications: * Proven ability to generate leads and monitor referrals, to maintain and build relationships with new and existing contacts and to manage a sales territory. * Ability to form relationships and maintain rapport with referral sources. * Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically (both orally and in writing) and solve complex problems. * Experience with public speaking (in addition to presentation skills). Strong at persuasive and educational writing and speaking. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (ie Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Calendar and CRM systems * Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem solving skills. * Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize and follow through activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines. * Demonstrated ability to work independently and synergistically with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision * Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and accountability. * Demonstrated effective communication both verbal and written * Ability to gain the trust of others, compassionate and has a desire to help others * Great customer service skills, able to turn around clients that are upset or unhappy. * Comfortable with closing/asking for business * Bachelor's degree - (marketing, business management, communications, or Healthcare Administration preferred.) * Requires valid MD driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance * A minimum of one-year experience in the healthcare industry, preferred
