Workforce Analyst III

Vencore is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabledResponsibilities:Under general direction of the Human Resources Director, works with business group managers and supervisors as a Generalist to develop and implement HR programs and initiatives for Workforce Planning to meet business needs and objectives. Builds and maintains strong working relationships with client group frontline leaders and HR Shared Services Team to resolve HR issues. Responsible for and/or serves as a key contact for employees and HR liaison for most of the following areas: employee relations, succession planning, talent management, compensation, benefits, EEO, training and development, and talent acquisition.Ensures positive employee relations by proactive employee communication, prompt issue resolution, and fair and equitable policy administration. Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; coaching and counseling managers and employees. Handles employee relations investigations and counseling. Collects and analyzes HR data and trends to make actionable recommendations to management and to solve problems.Administers various human resources plans and programs, such as new hire orientation, training and development, and the performance management process. Processes forms and reports for functional area according to established procedures. Prepares internal employee communications regarding such matter as compensation, benefits, or company policies.* BS +5 or MS+3 years' experience as a HR generalist * Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and broad knowledge of human resources, with specific experience in many of the following:- Identifying Effective Performance Management and Employee engagement practices- Expanding Diversity Recruitment- Explore Business Case for Voluntary Separation Incentive Pay increase- Establish/Maintain policies to maximize workforce flexibilities- Maximize the potential for Employee mobility assignments* Must have strong client service focus, and demonstrated high level of responsiveness and follow-through, and excellent organizational skills.* Ability to execute assignments or projects with excellence, with minimal supervision or rework.* Experience supporting and working with employees and managers to effectively manage change.* Effective oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills.* Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment, and when needed, support unforeseen assignments and tasks through personal initiative. * Experience working in a government contracting environment is a plus.
