Dewberry is currently seeking a Project Accountant for their Corporate Accounting and Financial Services Team for our growing A&E service company. Position will be located in our Fairfax Virginia location. The successful applicant will not only be responsible for their assigned offices but eventually will oversee a small team of project accountants to monitor their progress and assist with problems. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of relevant experience; be detailed oriented; a self-starter; able to work in a fast paced environment; meet deadlines and be a productive member of a team. Specific duties will include: Review and Support of Job Set Up; Providing Contract Billing Support to multiple Project Managers; Interpret Contracts from a Billing and Cost perspective; Coordination with Project Managers and others involved in tracking job status. Strong knowledge of Excel and Word are required.
