Full Time
Provides technical design, configuration, and custom application development. Working
on a team and collaboratively with other team members to deliver application solution.
Primarily supporting IT Service Management tools, such Remedy 9.1, ACTUATE,
Flexera Software Asset Management and web applications using ASP,.NET, SQL,
HTML, HDML, JavaScript, and CSS.
1. Provides expertise and support on use of methods and tools. (50%)
• Applies data analysis and data modeling techniques to establish, modify or
maintain a data structure and its associated components (entity descriptions,
relationship descriptions, attribute definitions).
• Undertakes complete design of simple applications using simple templates and
tools. Assists as part of a team on design of components of larger systems.
Produces detailed designs including for example: physical data flows, file layouts,
common routines and utilities, program specifications or prototypes, and backup,
recovery and restart procedures.
• Translates and implements simple development project requirements into
physical database structures. Assesses proposed changes to object and data
structures and implements these changes in physical databases. Assists in
database management system support activities for operational database
• Responsible for application development encompassing solutions projects and
operations enhancements and support Systems in key application areas.

2. Troubleshoot and develop application solutions based on multi-tiered architecture
using C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, designing data structures, and using/configuring SQL
Server databases. 25%)

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with four years of related work experience or two years of First Solar IT
Experience; OR
2. Associate's degree in Information Technology with six years of related work experience or four years of First Solar IT
Experience; OR
3. High School Diploma or GED with eight years equivalent external work experience or six years of First Solar IT
Other Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Formal IT and Business centric presentation skills for multiple levels of management
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple customers at the same time
• Ability to establish customer trust and confidence
• Ability to travel within company and customer locations as needed within short notice
• If the needs of the business dictate, perform tasks outside normally scheduled business hours
Must be a U.S. citizen, secret clearance required at start date
