ResponsibilitiesTechnical leadership for the test program, including test approachAnalyzes system requirements and concept of operations document and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and resultsWrites test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports. Works with other test organizations to support T&E program integrationSupport for customer interface, recruiting, test-tool introduction, test planning, staff supervision, and cost and progress status reportingVerifying the quality of the requirements, including testability, requirement definition, test design, test-script and test-data development, test automation, test-environment configuration; testscript configuration management, and test executionStaying current on latest test approaches and toolsConducting test-design and test procedure walk-throughs and inspectionsImplementing test-process improvements resulting from lessons learned and benefits surveysTest Traceability Matrix (tracing the test procedures to the test requirements)Test-process implementationEnsuring that test-product documentation is complete
Expertise in a variety of technical skills including programming languages, database technologies, and computer operating systems along with technologies such as virtualization, software defined networks, etc.Familiar with test-program concerns including test-data management, trouble reporting and resolution, test design, and test development
