Responsibilities


  • Technical leadership for the test program, including test approach
  • Analyzes system requirements and concept of operations document and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results
  • Writes test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports. Works with other test organizations to support T&E program integration
  • Support for customer interface, recruiting, test-tool introduction, test planning, staff supervision, and cost and progress status reporting
  • Verifying the quality of the requirements, including testability, requirement definition, test design, test-script and test-data development, test automation, test-environment configuration; testscript configuration management, and test execution
  • Staying current on latest test approaches and tools
  • Conducting test-design and test procedure walk-throughs and inspections
  • Implementing test-process improvements resulting from lessons learned and benefits surveys
  • Test Traceability Matrix (tracing the test procedures to the test requirements)
  • Test-process implementation
  • Ensuring that test-product documentation is complete


  • Skills


  • Expertise in a variety of technical skills including programming languages, database technologies, and computer operating systems along with technologies such as virtualization, software defined networks, etc.
  • Familiar with test-program concerns including test-data management, trouble reporting and resolution, test design, and test development

  • The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.

    Education

    Masters Degree in a related discipline.

    15-20 Years of Experience in Area of Expertise.
