JOB SUMMARY:

About the Agency

The Cost Modeling and Analysis Estimating Office (Code 158) is seeking an expert Engineering Cost Analyst to support cost estimating efforts in the cost estimating group within the office. This position will also support mission planning and execution through cost assessments, mission cost estimating, and parametric modeling of spa.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Position subject to pre-employment background investigation

  • You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-12), which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.

    Specialized experience is supporting mission planning and execution through cost assessments, mission cost
    estimating, and parametric modeling of spacecraft and instrument payloads. Experience includes evaluating
    tools, techniques, documentation, database approaches, and work for developing parametric cost models.

    Under Executive Order 11935, only United States citizens and nationals (residents of American Samoa and Swains Island) may compete for civil service jobs.

    Occasional travel may be required.
