ACAS IA / Security Specialist, this role will provide Information Assurance and integration support on the ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) tool suite McConnell AFB, KS. Highlights of Responsibilities • Provide system analysis, troubleshooting and integration support for ACAS on the Air Force Network. • Provide expert knowledge of policies and processes related to IA and computer network defense implementation as required for the ACAS Systems. • Provide engineering artifacts for C&A efforts as required. • Provide custom security policies using a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) toolset. • Perform systems analysis, design, programming, documentation and implementation of complex system applications and related IT/ADP systems concepts for effective implementation. • Participate in all phases of the software life cycle with emphasis on the planning, analysis, programming, testing and acceptance phases. • Author and/or assist in the authoring of configuration files, signatures and other such files necessary to add new vulnerability discovery capabilities into the ACAS system tool. • Assist Air Force Network Operations (AFNetOps) personnel in the implementation of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Information Assurance and Vulnerability Management (IAVM) programs including vulnerability tracking and compliance reporting.

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

Qualifications 2-5 years of related experience in data security administration.
