This position involves maintenance, repair, and overhaul of combustion-powered automotive vehicles, such as passenger cars, pickup trucks, buses, etc., and other vehicles with similar characteristics, including their gasoline and diesel engines and other mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronically controlled systems.

    IN ADDITION, APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING SCREEN OUT ELEMENTS: Ability to operate a motor vechicle weighing 26,001 pounds ormore with airbrakes as evidenced by a current valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision.

    In order to meet the Screen Out Element you must provide a current valid state Commerical Driver's License.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
