The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) seeks a Certification Manager to manage the day-to-day administrative activities of the Commission on Nurse Certification (CNC), the autonomous certifying arm of AACN.

Primary responsibilities include activities related to candidate testing for the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) certification program, eligibility, certification exam and renewals. Collaborate with the Director to establish goals and monitor plans for ongoing evaluation and improvement of the program. Serve as primary contact for customer service. Manage CNL exam administration including exam dates, testing center arrangements and proctor confirmations. Communicate with applicants regarding application, certification status and results. Maintain the CNL database, develop aggregate statistical information, develop annual reports and coordinate meeting logistics.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree; at least 5 years of experience in professional certification or education program administration.  Excellent customer service is a must.  Required skills include ability to work with minimal direction, strong attention to detail, ability to collaborate with volunteers and committees, highly developed organizational, communication and project management skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
