This position is located in the Department of Compact Operations (DCO), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Within DCO, the Division of Infrastructure, Environment, and Private Sector is responsible for the development and oversight of MCC's infrastructure investments (which account for two-thirds of the agency's portfolio), private sector development programs and partnerships, and the environmental and social performance of all MCC projects.

Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-14/15, MCC uses a pay banded system to compensate employees. This position is pay band 3b/3a which is generally equal to GS-14/15.

  • To qualify for pay band 3b you must meet the following:

    Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 4a (GS-13) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this experience is defined as: experience participating in or leading infrastructure programs and operations involving projects in one or more of the following infrastructure sub-sectors: roads, airports, ports, rail and other transportation infrastructure, as well as vertical structures including (but not limited to) schools, health centers, housing, terminals, and other building facilities sufficient to provide guidance and develop optimal and integrated solutions to Compact development and/or implementation challenges; experience providing advice and guidance on development and/or implementation issues related to large, complex, multi-year infrastructure projects; and experience communicating program/project concepts and results to management and stakeholders both orally and in writing. Note: This experience MUST be well documented within your resume or application.
