Nurse Care Manager
Thea Bowman House provides substance abuse and mental health treatment for up to 14 homeless and low-income mothers, each with one or two children 10 years old or younger. The program also accepts pregnant women.
Required: A Nursing license by the District of Columbia Department of Health, CPR/ First Aid, CPR for infants, AED and Driver’s License and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. 2-3 years of experience providing Primary Care, Acute Care or Ambulatory clinic care and previous supervisory experience.
Preferred: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and 3-5 years of experience in Primary Care, Acute Care, or Ambulatory clinic care. Prior experience in nursing management and experience in a residential treatment facility.

- Understanding of health education and wellness issues
- Knowledge of electronic health education usage and management
- Ability to communicate with diverse audiences
- Leadership Management Skills
