Director of Crisis Services
This class directs the design, implementation, documentation and evaluation of Crisis Services continuum across the agency. Directs the 24 hour per day, 7 day per week provision of emergency crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, re-entry and restoration, mobile crisis, jail-based and triage services for individuals with mental health and substance use related disorders. Supervises the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) trainings activities. Directs the provision of assessment and referral services in response to a variety of mental, emotional and/or substance use related disabilities. Is responsible for the development and implementation of the division's programs and services. Provides clinical and administrative leadership to ensure that all crisis services programs are in compliance with applicable regulatory, licensure and accreditation standards. Ensures compliance with preadmission screening certification regulations and guidelines.
Develops, manages and monitors program budgets, completes necessary administrative supports, and develops, monitors and assesses productivity and outcomes data. Develops and implements marketing and customer relations strategies to promote high utilization of clinical programs and promotes new business opportunities. Designs, implements and monitors assessment and strategies to ensure responsiveness to stakeholders. Ensures that division activities are consistent with the Board's strategic plan and effectively integrated with all Agency divisions and contract providers. Researches, plans, implements, supervises monitors and evaluates multiple clinical programs and prevention services. Ensures that assigned treatment and prevention programs are responsive, efficient and congruent with the CSB’s clinical and fiscal goals and objectives. Provides clinical direction and consultation to assigned program managers and clinical supervisors and staff.
Virginia license as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive and successful experience working in behavioral health and managing multiple clinical programs.
