    You must have one year Specialized Experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private/military sector) giving the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position.  Experience must be reflected in your resume.

    Specialized experience required for this position is:

    ·        Formulating, evaluating and nurturing the development of new concepts, methodologies, methods and applications to combat Weapons of Mass Destruction.

    ·        Plans, evaluates, and executes the full gambit of engineering programs impacting national and international issues dealing with WMD.

    ·        Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) affecting both national and international interests.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance level. 

    Must consent to and pass pre-employment drug testing and be subject to periodic testing there after.

    This is an Acquisition Workforce Position in the Science and Technology Manager Career field. The incumbent will be required to be certified, Level II in the applicable career field within 24 months, unless a Position Requirements Waiver is approved to extend the 24 months. The incumbent must obtain a minimum of 80 continuous learning points (CLPs) for every 2 year CLP period, with a goal of at least 40 annually.

    Travel in the performance of temporary assignments may be required.

    Probationary period required if not already completed.
