Community Network Coordinator
Coordinates and supports logistics, membership development, and website development for the Northern Virginia Falls Prevention Network. Duties include:
â€¢ Update and expand a website to communicate and link members of the Northern Virginia Falls Prevention Network (NVFPN), the community of older adults, and providers of health and safety services to older adults.
â€¢ Assures regular updating of websites for training programs and falls prevention intervention programs.
â€¢ Create and disseminate marketing materials for the Network and for the programs offered through the Network.
â€¢ Provides outreach to local and regional community groups to increase knowledge about, and membership in, the Network.
â€¢ Provide logistical support for Network presence at local and regional conferences; including conferences organized by the Network.
â€¢ Establish a sustainable structure for communication with regional stakeholders.
â€¢ Bachelorâ€™s degree in health, marketing, communications, or related field
â€¢ Excellent communication and organizational skills
â€¢ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and spreadsheet management
â€¢ Strong writing skills
â€¢ Website design experience
â€¢ Graduate degree in a health field, marketing, or communications
â€¢ Project management experience
â€¢ Knowledge of health and wellness activities with older adults
